Silent-Aire Limited Partnership, part of Johnson Controls, is seeking a Welder Apprentice in the Edmonton region. As an apprentice, you will perform welding and fabrication tasks, learning about GTAW, GMAW, FCAW, and SMAW processes directly under certified supervision. With a commitment to both safety and quality, you will contribute to creative cooling technologies used in global data centers.
Key Responsibilities: • Read and apply blueprints and welding symbols • Set up manual and semi-automatic welding equipment • Perform thermal cutting operations as needed • Conduct inspections and repairs of welds • Maintain detailed documentation and reports
Requirements: • Registered Apprentice Welder with Alberta AIT • Minimum of 500 hours of welding experience • Familiarity with basic welding processes • High school diploma or equivalent • Commitment to safety and quality standards
