The ideal candidate is highly organized, solutions‑driven, and thrives in a fast‑paced, ever‑changing workplace.Position Requirements/Skills:Proven experience in event coordination or event operationsExperience leading teams in a fast‑paced environmentStrong understanding of cleanliness standards, presentation, and public space managementAbility to identify and proactively manage operational and safety risksExcellent customer service, communication,
and conflict resolution skillsSelf‑motivated and able to work with minimal supervisionWork well within a diverse team environmentDuties and Responsibilities - Events:Lead the planning and execution of all resort events as directed by the Director of Resort Services & EventsDevelop and deliver weekly events programming to enhance the guest experienceCoordinate logistics for events including set‑up, staffing, equipment, and on‑site executionAct as on‑site lead for events, ensuring smooth delivery and quick resolution of any issuesSource, order, and manage event supplies, materials, and prizing in alignment with event needs and budgetsDuties & Responsibilities – Operations:Oversee the overall cleanliness and presentation of the Village Centre MallLiaise with cleaning contractors to ensure standards are consistently metMonitor and address aesthetic elements, ensuring the space remains welcoming and guest‑readyIdentify, mitigate, and manage risk within public spaces, implementing best practices for safety and complianceCoordinate minor maintenance and repairs as requiredSource and order operational supplies to support custodial needs, seasonal décor, and overall building presentationHire, onboard, schedule, and manage Resort Services team membersLead daily operations with a focus on accountability, efficiency, and customer serviceManage bi‑weekly payroll and staff schedulingPhysical Demands:Must be able to sit and stand extended periods during eventsCapable of lifting and carrying event materials and suppliesMust be able to kneel, bend, and perform physical tasks as requiredComfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying conditionsLocation:Big White Ski ResortSalary:$60,000 - $70,000 based on experience#J-18808-Ljbffr
