This role will support the lead staff by preparing and facilitating Tabletop Role-Playing Game (TTRPG) sessions, and assisting with the daily operations and supervision of a group of campers aged 7-13, and assisting with leadership skills for our Leader in Training program aged 14-17. This position requires a strong passion for TTRPGs, collaborative skills, and enthusiasm for working with youth.Work hours will be 8:30am - 4:30pm Monday through Friday, in-person.This is a full-time contract position from June 22 - August 28, 2026. There are two (2) positions available.Your main responsibilities will be:Assist the Lead Supervisor with preparing materials and running engaging and age-appropriate TTRPG campaigns (one-shots and ongoing adventures) for small groups of campers. Help the Lead Supervisor with daily camp logistics, including managing group transitions, coordinating lunch and break times,



and facilitating non-TTRPG group games.Developing and implementing other camp activities (crafts, physical activity games, etc.)Assist campers with fundamental TTRPG skills, including character creation, rules clarification, and collaborative storytelling techniques.Actively encourage teamwork, empathy, creative problem-solving, and respect for all players, utilizing TTRPGs as a medium for positive social development.Ensure the physical and emotional safety of all assigned campers, supervising them during activities, transitions, and breaks, and strictly adhering to all camp policies.Be prepared to assist the Lead Supervisor in executing emergency procedures and administering basic first aid as needed.Requirements & QualificationsSkills required for this role:The confidence and ability to lead small groups in narrative exercisesAbility to adapt your storytelling style to the needs of each groupExpertise in at least one TTRPG system’s rulesProblem solving and improvisation skillsCreative imagination to build immersive presentationsComfortable building positive relationships in a neuroaffirming environmentQualifications for this role:Demonstrated experience working with youth (ages 7-14) in a camp, educational, or organized recreation setting.Ability to pass a vulnerable sector check and provide professional references.CPR or First Aid certification is an asset.Enrollment or completion of a college or university program (especially Education, Theater, Communications, Recreation, or a related field, or equivalent experience).Benefits:Training, support, and mentorship to improve your facilitation skillsAdditional staff discounts through our staff portalA choice of paid time off for your birthday, or a birthday party on us!Compensation:$23 per hourRavenwood Tabletop is committed as a Living Wage employer#J-18808-Ljbffr
