Join Nova Scotia Power as a Power Engineer at the Lingan Generating Station. This full time position offers opportunities for skill development while ensuring protected operations of key power production equipment. As a Power Engineer, you will work collaboratively within the Power Production team and uphold high standards of safety and environmental performance.
You will undergo further training and will be expected to maintain compliance with industry regulations. This role is vital to ensuring operational success and reliability standards for power production. Key Responsibilities:
Ensure protected operation of auxiliary equipment
Participate in relevant training programs
Maintain compliance with safety and environmental regulations
Collaborate with the Emergency Response team
Handle temporary assignments across various locations Requirements:
2nd Class Power Engineer Certificate or 3rd Class as Apprentice
Minimum three years in a generating station
Valid color vision for monitoring equipment
Ability to manage multiple tasks and demands
