Lead the Print Media Research Centre as a Print Media Technician at the University of British Columbia. This role focuses on advanced printmaking techniques and studio support in a team-oriented workplace. As part of the Department of Art History, Visual Art and Theory, you will oversee the daily operations of the Print Media Research Centre.
Candidates with expertise in printmaking, digital media, and safety protocols will excel in this position. This role involves supporting curriculum delivery while collaborating closely with faculty, staff, and students. Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations of the Print Media Research Centre
Deliver demonstrations of printmaking techniques
Ensure safety procedures are followed in the studio
Maintain and manage printmaking equipment
Collaborate with faculty and other technicians on curriculum delivery Requirements:
University degree in relevant discipline or technical program
Minimum four years of related experience
Knowledge of various printmaking techniques
Strong communication skills with faculty and students
