Shape the future of learners as a Part time Educational Program Instructor at Markham Museum. Deliver exciting, interactive programs that inspire curiosity and learning in history and science. As part of the Education team under the Program Coordinator’s guidance, this role demands a passion for teaching and experience in delivering agile programs.
You will work primarily Monday to Friday with some evenings and weekends, ensuring engaging education for diverse audiences from preschoolers to seniors. Key Responsibilities:
Deliver programs based on Ontario Curriculum standards
Collect and prepare materials for educational sessions
Ensure readiness of museum spaces before and after programs
Engage with participants and provide quality service
Assist in program evaluation and development Requirements:
Relevant post-secondary education required
Proven experience with engaging group presentations
Valid First Aid certification or equivalent
Solid organizational and multitasking skills
Must pass Vulnerable Sector Screening Make a difference in the Markham community through hands-on educational programs and outreach initiatives.
