The Indigenous Education Support
Worker position is permanent and part time (0.4 FTE), effective September 8, 2026. You will collaborate closely with school staff, Indigenous partners, and families to ensure effective strategies for Indigenous learners. Your efforts will contribute to Truth and Reconciliation initiatives while fostering a culturally supportive setting. Key Responsibilities:
Act as a liaison between the school and Indigenous families
Collaborate with the School Based Team on learner plans
Facilitate data collection for student strategies
Support capacity building for staff in Indigenous concepts
Encourage student commitment and celebrate community successes Requirements:
Diploma in Indigenous Education Support Worker or equivalent
Experience working with Indigenous K-12 students
Valid driver's license
Knowledge of culturally appropriate strategies
