ThisFull-Time Contractposition (8 months) within the Association is housed at the YMCA of Northeastern Ontario’sDurhamlocation inSudbury .START DATE:February 9, 2026RATE OF PAY:$21.63 / HourlyHOURS:up to 40 Hours / WeeklyResponsibilitiesParticipate in program delivery schedule as neededRespond to inquiries regarding programs promptlyBe a positive role model for all program participantsManage overall summer operations at day camp sites across Sudbury as well as Espanola and Elliot Lake ensuring site Directors have tools and supplies neededCommunicate with program participant guardians and staffComplete staff check-ins and evaluations for Site DirectorsAssist with scheduling staff and volunteers across day camp sites and ensure time cards are completedComplete incident reports for submission to the General Manager of Camping and Youth LeadershipEnsure all relevant paperwork is completed in a timely mannerAssist with recruitment and selection of staffAssist in providing support to staff and volunteersEnsure that all Association safety standards are met or exceededIncorporate the Y Way into daily responsibilitiesBuild relationships with members and guests, and promote the YMCA as a charitable organizationWork within established budgets for each locationQualificationsPossession of an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD)National Lifeguard certification (NLS) in good standing (where applicable)Minimum of one (2) years of experience in a supervisory or similar roleExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent interpersonal skillsCurrent Standard First Aid and CPR CCurrent and satisfactory Police Record Check with Vulnerable SectorWhat We OfferAs a charity and community-based organization, we know how important connection and wellness is, and we offer a workplace that invests in people.
