Become the Operations Manager with the Office of the Fire Marshal, focusing on fire protection services for Northern Ontario communities. Drive safety and preparedness initiatives in unincorporated areas. This position allows you to play a crucial role in leading the Northern Fire Protection Program (NFPP).
With your leadership, you will enhance fire safety measures, provide operational resources, and support local fire services to actively safeguard communities. You’ll work in partnership with diverse stakeholders to promote effective emergency readiness across the region. Key Responsibilities:
Lead initiatives to protect lives and property in remote communities
Supervise and mentor a team dedicated to fire safety
Foster operational training and emergency response engagement
Develop and maintain community partnerships for fire services
Conduct regular travel to manage program operations across Northern Ontario Requirements:
Experience in managing fire protection or public safety programs
Robust focus on team culture and collaboration
Ability to navigate complex operational challenges
Commitment to enhancing community resilience and safety
