Village, under Camponi Housing Corporation, is seeking Peer Support Workers to enhance the living experience for residents. With full-time and part time options available, you will utilize your lived experiences to foster connections and stability in the health and wellness of tenants.
Your role is crucial in creating a respectful community workplace that values safety and dignity. Key Responsibilities:
Aid in the daily wellbeing of tenants through relationship building
Engage residents in community activities to enhance stability
Uphold a dignified and welcoming living space
Collaborate with a team in a culturally informed manner
Be available for various shifts, including nights and weekends Requirements:
Relevant lived experience and understanding of community needs
Background in supportive housing or social services preferred
Robust communication and interpersonal abilities
