Join the agile Acute Care Physiotherapy team at Red Deer Regional Hospital as a Physiotherapist I. Deliver therapeutic interventions to support client independence and integrate care practices. In this role, you will be responsible for providing therapeutic strategies to clients dealing with diverse health challenges.
You will assess, implement treatment plans, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to improve patient rehabilitation experiences. Your leadership will also extend to clinical supervision of Therapy Assistants and students, ensuring a well-rounded treatment approach. Key Responsibilities:
Provide assessment and therapeutic interventions for clients
Engage in interprofessional collaboration for best outcomes
Mentor Therapy Assistants and supervise students in clinical placements
Participate in quality improvement efforts within the department
Contribute to protected discharge and planning for patients Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited program
Current registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta
Prior experience in an acute care setting preferred
Solid interpersonal and team collaboration skills
Proficient in client engagement and care Make a meaningful impact in patient rehabilitation at Red Deer Regional Hospital.
