Job SummaryReporting to the National Sales Manager, the successful candidate will be based in Vancouver, British Columbia and will be responsible for driving growth and market expansion while also managing the base business for the Oncology and Breast Health portfolios. The Territory Manager will support customers in BC, defining and developing a business pipeline of opportunities that align with the company’s objectives and customers’ goals. Individuals will exhibit strong clinical and technical expertise, stay current on product updates, programs, and competitive knowledge.Key ResponsibilitiesAchieve and manage sales targets through effective management of base business and new sales opportunities.Develop a pipeline of opportunities and a business plan for the territory.Establish, maintain, and develop key accounts based on a business plan aligned to both organizational and customer goals.Develop and maintain clinical and technical knowledge within respective disease states and product portfolio.Maintain excellence in territory management, pipeline management and selling skills.Manage stakeholders involved in clinical, technical, and economic procurement.Build and maintain strategic business relationships in key accounts.Perform product demonstrations, customer education and in‑service as required to ensure efficient use of BD products.Manage the territory with integrity and in accordance with BD’s Code of Ethics and all applicable policies, rules, and procedures.Education and Experience RequiredA university degree is required.Minimum of two (2) years of experience selling medical devices with demonstrated high‑level sales success, or two (2)



years of clinical experience as an Ultrasound Technologist and/or Mammography Technologist.Knowledge and experience of the Canadian Healthcare System and the regulatory setting.Knowledge and Skills RequiredTakes initiative, perseveres, and demonstrates passion for the role.Takes accountability and ownership and creates effective plans to achieve targets.Proven problem‑solving skills using logic and methods to solve difficult problems.Strong presentation skills in a variety of settings including one‑on‑one, small and large groups, peers, and senior leadership.Strong business acumen and analysis skills with understanding of market strategies and tactics.Skillful negotiation with external stakeholders in tough situations.Excellent communication (written and verbal) and influencing skills to communicate complex information.Collaborative facilitator and leader, building consensus while championing business initiatives.Valid driver's license and clean driving record for at least 3 years, meeting BD's auto safety standards.Physical DemandsTravel 40% required for training, customer support, events, symposia, field activities, and case coverage.Travel after hours may be required for case coverage and/or field activities.Requires standing, walking, sitting, use of sight, hands to manipulate, handle objects and tools, and regular verbal communication with associates.Reaching, stooping, kneeling, or crouching occasionally.CompensationSalary range: $69,000 - $119,000 CAD annually.
