You will be instrumental in delivering nursing care during surgeries, employing a solid foundation in nursing practices and patient advocacy. Essential skills include effective communication and the development of care plans. Key Responsibilities:
Assist in surgeries and patient monitoring
Implement medical and therapeutic programs
Organize and direct nursing practice standards
Educate peers on clinical practices and techniques
Participate in on-call duties during evenings and weekends Requirements:
Bachelor's or Diploma in Nursing
At least one year of related nursing experience
Registered or eligible with Yukon Registered Nurses Association
Current CPR certification; ACLS, PALS, NRP preferred
Certified Peri-operative program completion Make a difference through dedicated nursing in the operating room at Whitehorse General Hospital.
