The Opportunity

We’re seeking a dependable and organized Yard Coordinator / Inside Sales Representative to support daily sales, customer service, inventory, delivery, and yard operations. In this role, you will assist customers, receive and order products, prepare load paperwork, and coordinate the daily activities of delivery drivers and yard staff.

This is a hands-on position that combines administrative and customer-service responsibilities with work in the yard as operational needs require.

Your Day-to-Day

- Provide inside sales support by assisting customers with product inquiries, orders, pricing, and general information
- Develop and maintain positive, qualified relationships with customers
- Receive incoming inventory and verify products against purchase orders and delivery documentation
- Assist with product ordering and monitor inventory levels
- Prepare load paperwork, delivery documentation, and other required records
- Provide daily direction to delivery drivers and yard staff to support efficient loading, deliveries, and yard operations
- Coordinate the organization and storage of materials and supplies
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks and ensure materials are properly secured
- Safely operate forklifts, tractors, power tools, and other equipment as required and when qualified
- Conduct inspections of yard equipment and tools and perform basic maintenance when required
- Maintain a clean and organized yard by removing garbage, debris,



and waste materials
- Report equipment issues, product damage, inventory discrepancies, or unsafe conditions to the manager
- Work outdoors in various weather conditions including inclement weather
- Work Schedule: Monday to Friday 8am – 4:30pm with evening work and overtime on occasion
- Display professionalism toward our company and customers
- Work in accordance with all internal, client and regulated health and safety policies, procedures and/or regulations, including wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Perform related duties as assigned by the supervisor

You Are a Good Fit If You Have

Required:

- Experience in customer service, inside sales, inventory, yard operations, or a related role
- Strong organizational and communication skills

Considered an Asset:

- Experience completing material or drawing takeoffs
- Valid forklift certification
- Experience in the construction or building-materials industry
- Experience with inventory receiving, product ordering, or delivery coordination
- Knowledge of construction products and materials

Skills & Abilities:

- Ability to perform physically intensive and strenuous tasks
- Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision
- Ability to work as part of a team and a willingness to collaborate on various job duties
- Ability to use tools and equipment required to perform the work (e.g. hand and power tools, etc.)
- Strong communication skills with supervisors, coworkers, and customers
- Ability to adapt to last-minute changes as dictated by the needs of our customers.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines,



while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within the parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
