Become an Occupational Therapist I in Viking at Viking Health Centre and focus on enabling individuals to achieve independence through meaningful occupational activities.
Your role is critical in patient care and community engagement. In this full time position, you will utilize your skills to support clients' needs through direct service and comprehensive assessments. You will work collaboratively with a health care team, ensuring clients, families, and caregivers are included in the care process and promoting different aspects of well-being across cognitive, affective, and physical domains. Key Responsibilities:
Provide evidence-based therapy and assessments for clients
Support clients in achieving their rehabilitation goals
Collaborate with healthcare teams to improve service delivery
Mentor junior staff and therapy students
Engage in quality improvement projects and initiatives Requirements:
Completed bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy
Registered with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists
Solid interpersonal and communication skills
Experience in community, acute, or outpatient settings
