Make a difference at night as a Support Care Worker at Haven Toronto, offering critical support to those in need. This role assists clients experiencing hardships related to homelessness, mental health, and substance use. This full time, time-limited contract is located in downtown Toronto and spans until December 31, 2026.

Shifts are Friday through Tuesday, 11pm-7am. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you’ll welcome clients, conduct assessments, and help connect them to necessary services and resources. Key Responsibilities:
Register recent clients and orient them to services
Perform assessments of physical and mental health needs
Facilitate access to meals, clothing, and various services
Document interactions and collaborate on care strategies
Provide crisis intervention when necessary Requirements:
Diploma in Social Services, Addictions, or Mental Health
Experience working with vulnerable populations preferred
Ability to manage competing priorities in demanding settings
Knowledge of harm reduction practices
