Provide comprehensive occupational therapy services at our hospital, rotating through acute care, rehabilitation, and outpatient services. This role includes administrative tasks and promoting our occupational therapy offerings. We are seeking an Occupational Therapist with a Master’s degree to join our Allied Health Services team.
The successful applicant must demonstrate the ability to work independently and collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team. Robust communication, organizational skills, and a commitment to career development are essential for success in this role. Key Responsibilities:
Offer occupational therapy across acute, rehab, and outpatient services
Manage administrative responsibilities related to therapy services
Promote understanding of occupational therapy programs
Collaborate with health professionals in a team setting
Lead training sessions for staff and clients when necessary Requirements:
Master’s degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy
Eligibility for licensing with the Prince Edward Island College of Occupational Therapists
Solid interpersonal and communication skills
Proven time management and organizational abilities
