Become a Minutes Recorder for Westbank First Nation, where you will document crucial meetings that support community initiatives. Reporting to the Enterprise Content Manager, the Minutes Recorder is responsible for crafting comprehensive minutes for various council gatherings.
Candidates must have a minimum of two years' experience in similar roles, alongside a relevant administrative certificate. Familiarity with Indigenous cultures will be an advantage as you'll support diverse community meetings. Confidentiality and organization will be essential skills as you navigate this agile role.
Key Responsibilities:
Document and prepare meeting agendas and minutes
Summarize highlights for the WFN quarterly report
Organize and schedule meetings as needed
Ensure proper distribution of minutes and policies
Maintain filing systems for all meeting documents Requirements:
Educational background of at least Grade 12
2 years of experience in a similar role
Acceptable Criminal Record Check required
Robust computer and organizational skills
