OLG is seeking a passionate Legal Services Director to drive strategic legal advice and litigation management. This key role protects the organization from legal and reputational risks while advancing OLG’s objectives. Reporting to the Senior Managing Counsel, you will oversee litigation and provide expert legal counsel across various areas, including human resources and privacy.

This senior role requires strategic thinking and robust leadership to guide both internal teams and external counsel effectively, ensuring that legal risks are minimized and managed. Provide timely legal advice on litigation, privacy, and HR matters
Oversee litigation management and represent OLG in court
Develop strategies to mitigate legal and business risks
Advise leaders on potential litigation areas and legal recommendations
Conduct workplace investigations and provide compliance guidance Juris Doctor (JD) or Bachelor of Laws (LLB)
Minimum 8 years of progressive legal experience
Member in valuable standing with Law Society of Ontario
Strong legal research and advocacy skills
Experience advising on complex legal matters Lead OLG’s legal strategies, mitigate risks, and build solid partnerships with diverse stakeholders.
