Oversee nursing and personal support services as Director of Care at Hillsdale Estates, situated in Oshawa, Ontario. This fully in office role focuses on strategic initiatives and regulatory compliance in healthcare. The Director of Care reports to the Administrator and will actively engage in planning, implementing, and evaluating the nursing department's objectives.

Key tasks include managing staffing plans, ensuring adherence to health regulations, and developing policies that meet best practices. Your leadership will foster a cooperative setting among interdisciplinary teams and drive equity-centered change. Key Responsibilities:
Actively participate in strategic planning and evaluation
Review departmental staffing using CIHI data




Ensure compliance with Homes Act 2007 and risk monitoring
Develop and revise nursing policies and procedures
Manage recruitment, training, and performance evaluations

Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing; Master’s preferred
Current RN certification with the College of Nurses
Progressive management experience in healthcare
In-depth knowledge of applicable healthcare laws
Proven leadership and conflict resolution skills
