Senior Maintenance & Reliability EngineerSedgman is seeking a Senior Maintenance & Reliability Engineer to join their Field Services team in the Vancouver, BC office. The individual will lead and deliver projects that maximize equipment uptime and minimize costs, while implementing solutions to enhance asset performance in a mining plant.ResponsibilitiesLead small teams and projects for the Field Services teamDevelop and optimise maintenance strategiesCarry out reliability and maintenance data analysis and reportingFacilitate failure investigations following Root Cause Analysis (RCA) methodsOversee the management and administration of the Maintenance Management SystemLead advanced Condition Monitoring (CM) activities and teamsPerform audits on plant equipment and lubrication systemsManage improvement projects from initiation to completionParticipate in Research and Development (R&D;) projectsWork collaboratively with the Maintenance & Reliability team in AustraliaMentor other engineers and graduatesRepresent Sedgman at industry conferences and events, including presenting technical papers and sharing best practicesTravel as required to support project delivery and meet client expectationsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering10+ years of relevant experience in a similar roleBroad maintenance and reliability experienceStrong background in mining industry operations (fixed plant, mobile, or field equipment)Ability to work autonomously and in a team environmentLeadership, negotiating, and above‑average communication skillsPrevious experience in minerals processing desirableExcellent report and technical writing skillsExperience with maintenance management systems (SAP PM, PRONTO, JD Edwards)Proven knowledge of Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM), FMECA, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and Asset Management PracticesExperience in lubrication, vibration analysis,
