Extendicare is looking for an independent Nurse Practitioner Contractor to support senior care in Sudbury, Ontario. Bring your clinical skills and teamwork to enhance residents' health and autonomy. As a Nurse Practitioner at Extendicare, you will work independently while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team. You'll assess resident health, treat acute and chronic conditions, and develop tailored care plans that promote well-being.

Your role will emphasize both clinical excellence and advocacy for seniors’ care, reflecting Extendicare's mission to provide quality services. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations for seniors
Develop care plans in collaboration with team members




Order necessary diagnostic tests and interpret results
Mentor junior staff and provide guidance on care
Foster therapeutic relationships with residents and families Requirements:
Unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (CNO) registration required
Master’s degree and post-Master’s NP certification
Qualified liability insurance necessary
Experience in gerontology or complex care preferred
