We are seeking a skilled Fitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling and fitting components according to specifications and ensuring that all work meets the highest quality standards. This role requires attention to detail, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work collaboratively in a quick-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine assembly requirements.
- Assemble and fit components using various tools and equipment, ensuring accuracy and precision.
- Conduct inspections of finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions effectively.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Document work processes and report any discrepancies or defects in materials or components.
Skills
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
- Strong mechanical skills with experience in using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
