Duties

- Assist with food preparation tasks including mixing, measuring, and ingredient organization to support bakers and cake decorators
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including washing utensils, cleaning surfaces, and managing waste disposal
- Support cake decorating processes by preparing icing, fillings, and decorative elements under supervision
- Handle packaging of baked goods with care to ensure freshness and presentation quality
- Follow food safety protocols diligently, including proper handling of ingredients and maintaining hygiene standards
- Assist with inventory management by restocking ingredients and supplies as needed
- Support the baking team during busy periods by preparing ingredients and assisting with basic cooking tasks
- Able to start work at 5am

Experience





- Previous experience in a restaurant or bakery environment is highly preferred
- Knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and sanitation standards in the food industry
- Basic skills in food preparation, baking techniques, and kitchen operations
- Familiarity with cake decorating techniques is a plus; training will be provided
- Strong customer service orientation to support team collaboration and positive interactions with customers when necessary
- Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Kitchen experience that demonstrates reliability, attention to detail, and a passion for culinary arts
