Take responsibility for equipment requirements and testing to meet customers’ process needs for automated systems or prototypes.Job Responsibilities:Assist in quote preparation and ensure the automated system concept meets process requirements.Lead or assist in defining and refining process and equipment requirements and specifications, and development of automation concepts.Support systems engineering analysis and design of all aspects of a machine, such as but not limited to system accuracy, cycle-time, vibration, thermal, metrology/instrumentation, kinematics.Create and document specifications such as: machine design and process requirements specifications, and test plans for process characterization and machine acceptance.Lead or support design reviews with customers, vendors, and internal design groupsReview mechanical, electrical and software design concepts as needed to ensure process requirements are met.Plan and support coordination of project activities with suppliers of process critical third‑party equipment,
