Lead nuclear security efforts with GE Vernova Hitachi, supporting the Small Modular Reactor business in Canada. This role focuses on implementing security standards and ensuring compliance with regulations. As a Nuclear Security Leader, you will oversee security protocols at GVH facilities in Canada.

Your expertise will help identify regulatory requirements, manage information security programs, and conduct necessary background checks for personnel compliance. Collaborating with design engineers and serving as a key contact for customers are essential parts of this role. Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate U.S. and Canadian security regulations
Establish physical security and access control procedures




Develop the interface between licensees and the information security program
Facilitate background checks and security clearances
Collaborate with reactor security design engineers Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree or 5 years in Nuclear Security
Minimum 5 years nuclear security experience
Solid knowledge of Nuclear Safety and Control Act
Experience following Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission regulations
Eligible for Level II Security Clearance Ensure effective nuclear security and compliance at GE Vernova Hitachi facilities in Canada.
