OverviewJob Title:IT Technician. Reporting to Redpath’s Americas IT Manager, we are seeking a detail-oriented, thorough, and organized IT technician to join our team. In this position, you will play a key role in providing support for all areas of IT for Redpath Canada Limited. You will update systems, troubleshoot problems, and provide hands-on client support for IT issues within our organization.Salary Range (Base):$60,000 - $83,000 - Based on knowledge, skills and experience.ResponsibilitiesEnsure client systems, software, and mobile devices are up-to-date through system monitoring and regular upgradesUtilize ticketing system for all support requests, incidents, and change requestsEffectively track assets and software distributionMonitor and maintain network and server assetsAssist with the design, implementation, and support of new software and featuresOversee troubleshooting for system errorsProvide technical support either by phone,



remote access or site visits as neededRespond to IT issues; hardware maintenance, software, networking, etc.Evaluate connectivity issues, equipment, and softwareSet up equipment for recent usersPerform data backupsInstall and update network system improvements as neededProvide client computer, asset tracking/deployment, network, antivirus and application supportProvide Microsoft Teams Voice telephony supportQualificationsEducationRequired: College diploma in Business, Information Technology or relatedPreferred: University degree in Business, Information Technology or relatedITIL, CompTIA A+, CompTIA Net+ certification, or related IT certification preferredPrevious experience as a help desk technician, computer technician, or IT supportWork ExperienceRequired: 1 - 2 years’ experiencePreferred: 2+ years’ experience#J-18808-Ljbffr
