Enhance public safety in Regina by becoming a Locksmith and Carpentry Specialist. This role focuses on the maintenance and installation of locks and building components vital to City infrastructure. You will support the City of Regina's facilities by leveraging your Journeyperson Certificate in Carpentry and extensive locksmith experience.
Working under the Trades Coordinator, you will play an essential role in ensuring civic properties are secure, functional, and up to code. Key Responsibilities:
Install and repair locking systems for City facilities
Support construction and maintenance projects effectively
Interpret and follow technical drawings and building codes
Focus on safety and quality in craftsmanship
Collaborate with other trades and city personnel Requirements:
Journeyperson Certificate in Carpentry is required
At least 4,000 hours of recent locksmith experience
Solid knowledge of construction practices
Excellent problem-solving abilities
Ability to communicate effectively Bring your locksmithing and carpentry skills to enhance security in Regina’s public facilities.
