We are looking for motivated and physically fit linecutters to join our field crew on a project west of Thunder Bay, Ontario. Work involves cutting and clearing survey lines through bush and rough terrain ahead of a geophysical crew. Accommodations are provided on-site.

Responsibilities
Cut and clear survey lines through bush using chainsaws
Flag and picket lines to grid specifications as cutting progresses
Work safely and efficiently as part of a small field crew
Maintain saws and cutting equipment in safe working order
Assist with general equipment and site duties as required

What We're Looking For
Must be physically fit and comfortable working long days in rough, uneven terrain




Chainsaw experience is a robust asset; chainsaw safety certification and ATV operating experience are also assets
Experience working in remote bush environments (line cutting, forestry, exploration, geology fieldwork, or similar) is a strong asset
Reliable, punctual, and a robust team player
Comfortable with remote in office camp living

Compensation

Pay depends on experience. On-site accommodations are provided by the company.
