Position: Leasing & Operations Assistant

Shift: Day Shift - Monday to Friday - 11am - 8pm

Salary: $62,000 - $65,000 per year, dependent on experience

Vision Truck Group is currently seeking a Leasing & Rental Operations Assistant to join our truck leasing department at our Brampton, Ontario dealership. The Leasing & Rental Operations Assistant will manage daily operations for the leasing team, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with internal processes, including working with Service teams and Parts teams across all Vision locations and other dealerships.

Our ideal candidate should have a welcoming and positive attitude, excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, and the ability to learn on the job. Experience in trucking industry, especially in leasing and rental, would be considered an asset.

Responsibilities

- Track and analyze the status of leased and rental vehicles
- Inspection of trucks as required for new truck deliveries and rental truck returns
- Starting rental trucks in yard
- Reviewing and updating rental agreements as needed
- Processing all paperwork associated with rentals and lease
- Organizing daily and monthly maintenance schedules for all locations and other dealerships for lease trucks
- Coordinate equipment inspection, pickup, and delivery
- Assist with onboarding new lease and rental units – i.e. service dates, repairs,



lease durations, warranty, etc.
- Obtaining plates, ownerships and insurance coverage on all units
- Collaborate with Sales Team on required projects
- Answering calls and emails from customers and answering questions regarding lease and rental
- Traveling to other locations as required
- All other duties as required

Requirements

- Valid G license and clean driving record
- Experience in truck rental and leasing positions is an asset
- A background in the automotive/transportation industry would be a strong asset
- Knowledge of trucks and maintenance process
- Excellent verbal, written and technological communication skills
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Good ability and knowledge of computer usage
- Personal, professional appearance
- Solid Excel and accounting background
- An understanding of VTG culture would be considered an asset

May require travel up to 25% of the time with company provided vehicle
