The Pharmacy Technician will work to the full scope of practice as described within the National Association of Pharmacy Regulatory Authorities (NAPRA) Model Standards of Practice for Canadian Pharmacy Technicians to support the Pharmacist and ensure the protected and accurate distribution of pharmaceuticals in the Hospital. The Pharmacy Technician is accountable to the Ontario College of Pharmacists and to Providence Care for his/her professional service to the clients/patients.Education & ExperienceCurrent unrestricted registration with the Ontario College of Pharmacists, Registered Pharmacy Technician (R.Ph.T.)Experience working in a hospital pharmacy, preferredPosition ResponsibilitiesPrepare new and refill individual client/patient orders and prescriptions (counting, pouring, weighing, measuring, mixing, repackaging, labelling) in accordance with organization and departmental policy and procedureGenerate fill lists, prepare cart fills,
