Join Kitchenuhmaykoosib Inninuwug as a Family Keeper, directly helping families, children, and youth achieve holistic health. This full time role emphasizes culturally grounded support. As a Family Keeper, your mission is to promote wellness and family unity for dibenjikewin members using the Maamao Dibenjikewin Kanawaabajikewin model.
You will regularly meet with families to develop care plans and ensure they are informed of their rights and responsibilities. Building relationships and advocating for support are key aspects of this role. Key Responsibilities:
Nurture compassionate relationships with families
Collaborate on care and helping plans
Maintain accurate family files and investigate issues
Assist in case transfers and agency liaison
Deliver guidance on traditional support services Requirements:
Minimum 2 years in child/youth family services
High school diploma and/or further education preferred
Knowledge of KIDO principles and service model
Must communicate effectively, experience in Anishininiimowin is beneficial
Availability for travel and crisis response Make a significant impact by supporting families as a Family Keeper at Kido.
