Overview

We are seeking a motivated and energetic Kitchen Assistant to join our agile team. In this role, you will support the kitchen operations by assisting with food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring food safety standards are met. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help us deliver high-quality meals efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities
Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, peeling, and assembling ingredients for dishes
Support cooking processes by following recipes and instructions from chefs or kitchen managers
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, utensils, and equipment to ensure hygiene standards are upheld
Handle food safely by following proper storage, handling, and sanitation procedures
Help with serving food in a timely manner during busy service periods




Restock supplies and ingredients to ensure smooth kitchen operations
Follow all health and safety regulations to prevent cross-contamination and accidents

Requirements
Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen settings is preferred but not mandatory
Knowledge of food handling safety procedures and food industry standards
Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, lifting moderate weights, and bending frequently
Strong attention to detail in food preparation and cleanliness practices
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards learning current skills
Basic understanding of cooking techniques and meal preparation processes is advantageous
Commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene at all times

Pay: From $17.60 per hour
