Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces to uphold hygiene standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, break rooms, hallways, and common areas with attention to detail.
- Ensure trash is emptied regularly and waste is disposed of properly in designated containers.
- Use commercial cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and cleaning solutions safely and effectively.
- Restock supplies like paper towels, soap dispensers, and toilet paper to ensure availability at all times.
- Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures to prevent accidents or injuries.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning to the appropriate personnel promptly.
Experience
- Prior experience in commercial cleaning or facilities maintenance is required.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to thoroughness in completing cleaning tasks.
- Good physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and move around for extended periods.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and safety procedures related to custodial work is a plus.
