Role Overview: We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney (BigLaw Firms) to work on a contract basis. The role involves handling high-stakes commercial litigation matters across multiple jurisdictions. Candidates must have prior experience in complex civil litigation within a BigLaw firm environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft and file motions, pleadings, and discovery responses in state and federal courts.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies and client advisories.
- Participate in depositions, arbitrations, and mediations as required by case deadlines.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop litigation strategies and case management plans.
- Manage document production, e-discovery, and compliance with court-imposed deadlines.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Admitted to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction with a clean disciplinary record.
- Minimum 3 years of litigation experience in a BigLaw firm or equivalent setting.
- Strong proficiency in legal research tools such as Westlaw, LexisNexis, and Bloomberg Law.
- Experience with e-discovery platforms including Relativity, Everlaw, or similar tools.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with precise attention to detail.
