Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated CNC Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate and program CNC (Computer Numerical Control) & manual machines, including lathes and milling machines, to produce precision parts. You have mechanical knowledge, attention to detail, and expertise with Mastercam or Solidworks.

Responsibilities

- Program setup and operate CNC milling machines and CNC lathes, ensuring accurate machining of parts according to blueprints and technical specifications
- Program CNC machines using Fanuc, Fagor and Mazak controls and CNC programming languages to optimize efficiency and precision
- Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and CAD models created in SolidWorks or other CAD software to determine machining requirements
- Use precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers to verify dimensions and ensure quality standards are met throughout the manufacturing process
- Maintain a clean, organized work area by utilizing hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment as needed for assembly or adjustments
- Conduct routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance and troubleshoot issues proactively

Skills





- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics accurately
- Proficiency in CNC programming, particularly with Fanuc controls, is highly desirable
- Experience operating CNC milling machines and CNC lathes in a manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with CAD software such as SolidWorks or Mastercam for designing or reviewing parts.
- Ability to use precision measurement tools including calipers, micrometers, and gauges for quality control
- Basic math skills for calculating measurements, tolerances, and machining parameters
- Knowledge of welding techniques and assembly processes is a plus
- Comfort using hand tools, power tools, forklifts, and other machinery safely and effectively

Pay: $30.00-$48.00 per hour
