TRU by Hilton Toronto Airport West is a hotel in Mississauga, ON L5T 0B8.

We are looking for fun, customer-centric, and collaborative people to join our team.

- Performs general maintenance to guestrooms promptly.
- Responsible for maintaining the general condition of the hotel, guestrooms, and grounds with regards to basic repairs in Carpentry, Plumbing, Pool maintenance, Mechanical, minor Electrical, HVAC, and Painting.
- Participates in the company preventative maintenance program for guestrooms, equipment, public space, grounds, and landscaping.
- Perform general carpentry and repairs to furniture and structures such as cabinets, tables, windows, doors, and chairs.
- Works on special projects assigned by Maintenance Manager/General Manager.
- Maintains the cleanliness and organization of the work areas.
- Responds quickly to guest requests in a friendly manner. Follow-up is necessary too.
- Must be attentive,



helpful, and courteous to all guests, managers, and all other team members.
- Ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
- Comply with attendance rules and be available to work regularly which requires weekends.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager / General Manager

Not certificates are necessary but will be a plus to have any certificate ie. electrical, plumbing, HVAC, WHMIS, First Aids. Job Type: Full time

Pay: From $21.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate

- Mississauga, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:
- Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:
- Maintenance: 1 year (preferred)
