Department of the Town of La Ronge is inviting qualified applicants for the Equipment Operator position. Duties include maintaining and inspecting town infrastructure such as roads, sidewalks, and the Barber Field airport. Candidates should be prepared for physical labor, including lifting and using tools, while working in a team-oriented, community-focused workplace. Flexibility in scheduling for evenings or weekends may be necessary based on operational needs. Key Responsibilities:
Carry out general maintenance on public roads and infrastructure




Inspect and repair equipment for safety conformity
Execute small-scale asphalt sealing tasks
Assist operations at the barber field airport as required
Work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends Requirements:

•Grade 12 education or equivalent
Class 5 Saskatchewan driver’s license with air brake endorsement
Physical capability to lift 50 lbs
Experience with heavy equipment is a plus
Regulatory certifications in restricted radio and AVOP beneficial Leverage your skills in equipment operation to enhance the quality of life in La Ronge through effective public works.
