OverviewCanada Cartage System LP is currently seeking a reliable and experienced AZ Truck Driver (Dry Van) to join our team in London, Ontario. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and productive transportation of goods using tractor‑trailer (dry van) equipment across local, regional, and long‑haul routes, including cross‑border trips where required.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate and drive tractor‑trailers (articulated trucks) to transport goods and materialsPlan or adjust routes using GPS or navigation systems to optimize efficiencyLoad and unload goods as requiredPerform pre‑trip, en route, and post‑trip inspections of vehicle systems and equipmentOversee vehicle condition including tires, lights, brakes, and other equipmentMaintain accurate records including driver logbooks, bills of lading, inspection reports, and trip reportsRecord cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled, and fuel consumptionReceive and relay information to dispatch and report delays, issues, or incidentsEnsure compliance with all transportation regulations and safety standardsMandatory RequirementsValid AZ (Class 1) Driver’s LicenseOne to less than two years of AZ driving experienceClean driving abstract and valid CVOR recordWillingness to travel cross‑border (U.S.)
