The Managing
Director will support Construction Disputes & Advisory, one of six business groups focused on client delivery services across the Firm. You will partner with Canadian leadership to shape the strategic direction of our Canada practice, leveraging Ankura’s global platform to cultivate high-value relationships and lead complex technical mandates. Technical
Eminence (Claims & Delay): Lead sophisticated analyses of project schedule delays, cost overruns, and productivity issues. Serve as the primary technical expert on high-profile disputes, providing independent, defensible professional opinions on cause-and-effect relationships. Ensure the delivery of high-quality work products that reconcile claim amounts and withstand rigorous scrutiny.
Champion a culture of collaboration, diversity, and inclusion,
ensuring the next generation of experts is nurtured within the practice. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field;
Experience: 10+ years of disputes/claims consulting experience in the construction and engineering industries. Recognized proficiency in delay analysis and forensic scheduling is required. A demonstrated track record of originating work through professional networks and high-quality delivery. You should possess an established presence in the Toronto legal/construction community.
Communication: Exceptional ability to distill complex technical concepts for diverse audiences, including legal counsel and triers of fact.
