frozen and dry goods and prepare them for shipping.Prepare boxes and materials for shipping orders.Pack seafood items as required for shippingReceive and inspect incoming shipments of fresh and frozen seafood productsAssist in inventory counts and maintain accurate stock recordsLoad and unload delivery trucks efficiently and safelyReport any damaged or spoiled products to supervisorsLabel products and boxes according to shipping or regulatory requirementsOperate pallet jacks or forklifts (if certified or trained)Maintain a clean and organized work areaFollow all safety and handling proceduresQualificationsPrevious experience in a warehouse an asset.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentPhysically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedlyComfortable working in a cold and wet environment (protective gear provided)A strong understanding of the Halifax regional Municipality.Having grew up in the area or lived here for sometime$25 - $28 per hour, depending on experienceCost-shared medical and dental coverageOn-site parkingJob TypeFull-TimeHours38 – 45 hours per week, depending on the time of year.#J-18808-Ljbffr
