Comprehensive benefits package included.Location:Windsor, ON.Job DescriptionThe QHSE Specialist reports directly to the Facilities Manager and is responsible for developing, implementing and continuously improving the Company’s Quality, Health & Safety, and Environmental management systems. This role ensure compliance with applicable federal and local regulations while promoting a strong safety culture across multiple departments.Responsibilities to include the following, but not limited to:Quality ManagementMaintain and improve the Quality Management System (QMS) aligned with ISO 9001 and company standardsConduct product testing, internal audits, inspections and corrective action follow-upSupport product quality assurance for handling, storage and delivery of commodityInvestigate quality incidents and customer complaints; implement root-cause and preventative actionsHealth & SafetyImplementing workplace health and safety programs in compliance with federal safety regulationsConducting risk assessments, hazard identification, and job safety analysesLeading incident investigations, near-miss reporting and corrective action trackingDelivering safety training, toolbox talks and onboarding programsPromoting a proactive safety culture across terminals,
vessels and transport operationsEnvironmental ManagementEnsuring compliance with environmental regulations related to fuel handling, storage, spill prevention and waste managementSupporting compliance with ISO 14001, MARPOL, federal and local environmental requirementsMaintaining spill response plans and conduct emergency response drillsMonitoring environmental performance metrics and regulatory reportingCompliance & Continuous ImprovementMaintain documentation, procedures, and policies for QHSE systemsSupporting external audits, inspections and regulatory engagementsTracking KPIs and preparing monthly and annual QHSE performance reportsDriving continuous improvement initiatives across operationsQualificationsDegree/Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related fieldMinimum three (3) years of QHSE experience, preferably in oil & gas, fuels, lubricants or industrial logisticsWorking knowledge of: ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001, marine regulations, spill response and environmental complianceExperience conducting audits, risk assessments and incident investigationsISO Lead Auditor certification preferredCRSP certificationStrong knowledge of QHSE federal regulations and marine industry practicesExcellent communication and training skillsDetail-oriented with solid analytical and problem solving abilitiesAbility to influence safety culture at all levels of the organization#J-18808-Ljbffr
