Join Webber as a Highway Incident Management Technician where you will play a vital role in responding to and managing incidents on provincial highways. This position focuses on safety and effective communication with emergency services. As a technician in this role, you will assist local and provincial police during emergencies, carry out thorough investigations following accidents, and track critical data related to all incidents.
Your proactive skills in hazard recognition and decision-making will be essential to maintain secure travel conditions for the public. Key Responsibilities:
Liaise with emergency responders during incidents
Provide updates to the Ministry of Transportation
Track major incidents and maintain accurate files
Conduct follow-through investigations on fatalities
Assist with administration of third-party claims Requirements:
High School Diploma required
Minimum 2 years in traffic control or related fields
Valid Class DZ driver’s license needed
OTM BOOK 7 certification required
Solid safety awareness and problem-solving ability Play a pivotal part in enhancing highway safety and operational effectiveness at Webber.
