Join us as a Cash Collection Specialist and become part of our world-class team!How you will make an impact: As a Cash Collection Specialist at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will play a crucial role in managing our financial transactions and ensuring accurate record-keeping. You''ll be responsible for a variety of tasks related to cash handling, electronic fund transfers (EFTs), and customer account management.What you will do:Perform cash key entry and manage the key entry of cash transactionsSave and process Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT) emailsCheck and manage the manual lockboxSave files and download banking detailsCreate folios for key entry processesFollow up with customers regarding missing EFT payment advicesFill in banking details accuratelyCreate statement of accounts for customersProvide proof of deliveries and packing slip copies as requiredConduct monthly PST (Provincial Sales Tax)



adjustments as well as daily adjustmentsPerform portal reconciliation and invoice flippingAssist with other financial tasks as needed**REQUIREMENTS:**How you will get there:**Education:**Bachelor''s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferredHigh school diploma or equivalent required**Experience:**1- 3 years of experience in cash collection, accounts receivable, or a similar financial roleFamiliarity with EFT processes and banking systemsKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Robust attention to detail and accuracy in data entryExcellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasksProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially ExcelKnowledge of accounting principles and practicesStrong communication skills for customer follow- ups and internal coordinationAbility to work independently and as part of a teamProblem-solving skills to resolve discrepancies in financial recordsTravel Requirements:Minimal travel may be required**Compensation**The estimated annualized pay range for this position in Ontario is $36,400.00u2013$54,550.00.Thermo Fisher Scientific is an EEO/Affirmative Action Employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status, disability or any other legally protected status.
