Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated, computer-savvy Die Press Operator who is eager to learn and grow within advanced manufacturing. This role begins with operating die press equipment and expands into training across multiple processes, including CNC machining, slitting, gluing, staging, and more.

This is an excellent opportunity for a mechanically inclined individual who enjoys problem-solving, working with technology, and developing new skills in a hands-on environment.

- Computer literacy; AutoCAD knowledge an asset

Key Responsibilities





- Operate die press machinery to manufacture custom gaskets
- Learn and support additional manufacturing processes including:

1. CNC machining and programming

2. Slitting

3. Gluing and laminating

4. Staging and order preparation

- Read and follow production drawings, blueprints, and work instructions
- Perform inspections to ensure compliance with AS9100 / ISO 9001 standards
- Assist with material handling, loading/unloading, and order packaging
- Maintain equipment and report any issues to supervision
- Follow workplace safety and quality procedures
- Contribute ideas for continuous improvement in production processes

Requirements

- High school diploma (technical certificate/diploma an asset)
- Previous machine operation experience preferred but not required — training provided
- Strong mechanical aptitude and computer skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings (or willingness to learn)
- Detail-oriented, organized, and adaptable
- Self-motivated and able to work both independently and in a team
- Interest in learning multiple manufacturing techniques and developing long-term skills
- Nice to have: Experience with equipment maintenance and routine repairs
