Duties
Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting their favorite ice cream and toppings
Operate POS systems, to process transactions accurately and efficiently
Prepare ice cream cones, sundaes, and other frozen treats following established recipes and safety standards
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, utensils, and display cases in compliance with food safety regulations
Manage cash handling duties with precision, including cash register operation and change distribution
Upsell additional toppings or products to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales
Monitor inventory levels of ice cream flavors, toppings, and supplies; restock as needed to ensure product availability
Experience
Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided
Familiarity with food handling procedures and sanitation standards in a rapid-paced setting
Robust time management skills to handle multiple customers efficiently during busy periods
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude that encourages repeat visits
Basic math skills for cash handling, giving correct change, and processing transactions accurately
Knowledge of food safety practices and proper sanitation procedures within the food industry
