Become the Housing Initiatives Coordinator with the progressive Ka:’yu:’k’t’h’/Che:k’tles7et’h’ First Nations. Drive the planning and execution of vital housing solutions. This role, based in Houpsitas/Kyuquot or potentially Campbell River, focuses on administering housing projects and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

The successful candidate will handle funding applications and community interactions regarding housing services. Support and training are provided to those eager to make a change. Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and oversee housing policies and regulations
Secure and manage funding for community housing
Communicate with tenants on applications and issues
Prepare and present housing reports to the board
Conduct inspections and ensure compliance with standards Requirements:
Education in project management is an asset
Excellent organizational and conflict resolution skills
Familiarity with government funding processes beneficial
Experience working in remote settings preferred
