Snowcats and heavy equipment to maintain optimal snow conditions for guests. In this full time, seasonal position, you will report directly to the Grooming Supervisor. This role emphasizes safe operation of snow grooming machinery to prepare the resort for visitors while adhering to safety regulations. As you develop your skills, prospects for advancement to Winch Cat operation will arise. Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate Snowcats and loaders across the resort
Maintain protected access to facilities and event areas
Complete equipment inspections and log findings
Collaborate with team on grooming practices
Provide assistance in emergency situations on the slopes Requirements:
Valid Class 5 B.C. driver’s license
High school diploma mandatory
Experience in operating a snowcat preferred
Mechanical skills are a plus
Willingness to work irregular hours Play a key role in providing safe and enjoyable experiences for guests at Whitewater Mountain Resort.
