Rundle Middle
School is seeking a dedicated full-time Resource Teacher. You will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized education plans, mentoring educational assistants, and designing effective classroom strategies. Candidates must possess extensive academic training in special education, assessment methodologies, and a commitment to inclusive practices. Key Responsibilities:
Design and evaluate Individualized Education Plans (IPEs) for students
Support and mentor Educational Assistants in inclusive practices
Conduct assessments including classroom observations and Level B tests
Organize and maintain support services and resources at school
Implement strategies aligned with BC Educators' Professional Standards Requirements:
Extensive training in special needs education and assessment
Demonstrated experience with diverse learning disabilities
Solid interpersonal and communication skills
Commitment to cooperative teaching and lifelong learning
Ability to manage classroom effectively and organize resources Utilize your expertise in special education to foster an inclusive learning workplace at A.D.
