Humber River Health is hiring a full time Registered Nurse for their Acute Inpatient Medicine Unit, focusing on stroke and general medicine. Your skills will enhance the lives of patients and families in North West Toronto. This role involves providing exceptional nursing care while working in a state-of-the-art digital hospital environment.
In addition to patient care, you will participate in team initiatives and serve as a mentor to nursing students. Your experience and interpersonal abilities will strengthen multidisciplinary collaboration and promote effective patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities:
Manage care for patients with strokes and other medical issues
Collaborate on care planning with healthcare team professionals
Document patient interactions using computerized systems
Contribute to projects as a resource/team leader
Mentor and support current hires and nursing students Requirements:
Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
2 years of preferred acute inpatient experience
BCLS certification required within 3 months
Robust assessment and communication skills
